Miss Mila, our Pack Leader

My dog Mila came into our life 13 ½ years ago, rescuing her as a puppy at around 4-5 months of age, she has been an instrumental part of our business ever since. You will find Mila alongside the gang day to day (her signature bows are hard to miss!), or riding shot gun blowing in the wind. She brings warmth, calmness and a positive energy to our pack, and home environment, which helps the more sensitive dog adapt well to their new environment. Truly a unique and special girl who is adored by everyone.

I began training Mila the moment she joined our family. Earning the privilege over time walking off-leash by my side, around the city, having created a strong connection and mutual trust. She is very treat motivated, and loves to please. The biggest obstacle we had was curbing her separation anxiety. Not having prior history exactly what life looked like prior to rescuing her (nothing positive, was for certain), it was apparent her attachment to me was going to be a work in progress, and it was. With a lot of hard work, dedication, and consistency… we got there!
